Research showing widespread skepticism among customers about the durability of fabric-covered buildings motivated Cover-All Building Systems Inc., Saskatoon, Canada, to perform a strength test. Cover-All worked with Intertape Polymer Group, Montreal, Canada, to develop the DuraWeave line of heavyweight polyolefin fabrics for its steel-framed, covered buildings. The company lifted a 6,200-pound truck on a 12-by-24-foot section of DuraWeave, demonstrating the fabric’s patented double-stack weave for superior strength. DuraWeave FR comes with a 4 mil fire-retardant coating and features a bright white underside to maximize interior light.
