Lectra has partnered with X-Rite, a company based in Grand Rapids, Mich. specializing in color science and technology, and its subsidiary Pantone, a manufacturer of color solutions. The partnership will provide color management for fashion companies by combining various products and services offered by Lectra and X-Rite.
Lectra will feature Fashion PLM, a fashion-specific product for lifecycle management, Kaledo®, a fashion and textile design suite, and Modaris 3D Fit, a 3D virtual prototyping application. X-Rite technologies will include ColorMunki™, a color solution for selecting, creating and controlling new colors and PANTONE® FASHION + HOME color references, and CxF (Color Exchange Format), a file format designed to accurately communicate all commercially relevant aspects of color across devices, applications and geographies.
