Camira Fabrics re-enters North American marketplace

Industry News | October 26, 2010 | By:

Signaling its long-term commitment to the North American interiors marketplace, textile innovator Camira Fabrics has announced that it has joined the professional trade body ACT (Association of Contract Textiles). Camira is a leading European manufacturer of textiles for commercial interiors, and has recently re-entered the North American marketplace by establishing a stock backed cut yardage program out of Indianapolis, Ind., to service its environmental collections of Second Nature branded wool and natural bast fiber fabrics introduced at Neocon.

Camira designs, manufactures and sells some 10 million yards of fabric annually under an ethos which strives for continuous improvement to raise standards in product performance, environmental design and sustainable manufacturing. The company is already an active member of relevant industry bodies in its native United Kingdom, including the British Contract Furnishing Association and the Furniture Industry Sustainability Program, and is looking forward to becoming a valued and respected industry practitioner in the North American marketplace.
