Tents provide hospitality space for European soccer tournament

For the UEFA Champions League Final 2010, Röder Zelt-und Veranstaltungsservice built hospitality space for thousands of guests gathered in Madrid, Spain, for the event. The client requested more than 10,000 square meters of space for sponsors and their guests, soccer fans, celebrities and officials. Four two-story tents were built, including a temporary building used as a Museum of Champions that was installed in a nearby park, and showcased a special exhibition of exclusive memorabilia from Champions League players and clubs between 1956 and 2010. Röder Zelt-und Veranstaltungsservice GmbH received a 2010 IAA Outstanding Achievement Award for the project.
