Industry News | February 21, 2011 | By:

Students of North Carolina State University’s (NCSU) College of Design (COD) and College of Textiles (COT) are hosting Collection X: Art to Wear Fashion Show 2011 on April 7. Billed as “anything but your typical fashion show,” the show attracted 3,200 attendees in 2010, and has been covered worldwide in media outlets including ABC News, Worth Global Style Network, and Textile World.

This year the show marks its 10th anniversary. AATCC, celebrating its 90th year of service to textile education and industry, is a proud co-sponsor of Art to Wear 2011. AATCC will have a booth at the show to promote student memberships and activities.

Student run and professionally juried, Art to Wear has established itself with unique works ranging from ready-to-wear to couture garments. Many of the show’s participants have been involved since their freshman year at NCSU. Ticket prices range from US $5 general admission to US $30 for reserved seats.
