New in 2011, the HSG-0 Electronic heat cutter from HSGM USA, Duncan, S.C., has a circuit board in the housing instead of a transformer, which has decreased its weight to just 14 ounces, and with 120 watts, it offers consistent heat in the blade. Well suited for cutting and sealing the edges and ends of synthetic fabrics, ropes, webbing, sail cloth and filter fabric.
