Phifer’s SheerWeave Performance + collection has added Style 2500 to the family of high-tech interior sun control fabrics. A 1 percent open basketweave fabric, Style 2500 joins styles 2390 and 2410 in a range that combines the performance of a traditional SheerWeave fabric “plus” the highly reflective properties of a metallized coating. Using the latest technology in metallized coatings, Performance + fabrics act as a shield at the window, blocking the sun’s rays and reflecting solar heat away from the building. The fabrics also reduce the amount of solar glare and increase the outward view through the shade, but still provide an increase in daytime privacy.
The entire Performance + line of fabrics is available in 63- and 96-inch widths and 10 neutral colors, recommended for any commercial project. The fabrics are infused with Microban® antimicrobial product protection. Microban protection works 24/7 for an added level of defense against microbes such as mold and mildew. Added during the manufacturing process, the product protection works continuously for the lifetime of the shade to inhibit the growth of stain-causing bacteria, mold and mildew.
Performance + is also GREENGUARD® certified for superior indoor air quality performance. These fabrics are certified as meeting the more stringent GREENGUARD Children & Schools standards for commercial use as well, and have achieved the new GREENGUARD Select certification. The GREENGUARD Certification Program is an internationally-recognized product emissions certification and labeling program for manufacturers of low-emitting indoor materials.
