CrossTexNet draws together 17 research-funding agencies to cooperate on “making more and smarter funding available to European textile research, on a permanent basis.” Partners in regional and national funding agencies in Belgium, France, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Italy and Turkey invite companies and research groups to apply for funding for innovative textile research projects that involve collaborations of at least two companies. Deadline for proposals is Jan. 4, 2013. The aim is to stimulate innovation and implement the Strategic Research Agenda of the European Technology Platform.
