J. Ennis Fabrics will no longer distribute Tempotest products

News | October 9, 2013 | By:

J. Ennis Fabrics and Pará SPA have decided to end their North American distribution agreement. J. Ennis Fabrics will continue to provide Tempotest® until December 13, 2013.

“Tempotest products overlap with our Sunbrella® solution-dyed acrylic line and duplicates inventory in this category. We needed to make this difficult decision to further our long-term vision of being the leading distributor of specialty fabrics and supplies in North America,” says Jim Ennis, president/CEO of J. Ennis Fabrics. “We will continue to work with our customers to identify new and exciting opportunities in the market, like Ennis 1974, a PVC-coated commercial awning fabric. In addition to our current Sunbrella 46-inch products we will be launching all colors of Sunbrella 60-inch fabric and adding a new European braid.”

J. Ennis Fabrics’ specialty market is wide-ranging, and includes industrial, marine, awning and transportation markets. The company stocks fabrics for awnings, boat tops, apparel, bags, protective covers, headliner, tarps, screening and a wide variety of other products. All fabrics are tested to meet industry standards, including fabrics designed for the harshest climates and specialized uses.
