Bursting strength tester

The SDL Atlas PnuBurst determines the bursting strength and distension at burst of woven, knitted and nonwoven fabrics, paper and paperboard. With a wide range of test clamp sizes and pressures, it is extremely versatile in use, capable of meeting all major bursting standards that do not require hydraulic testers. Intuitive software includes a correction factor for diaphragm resistance during tests, to give an accurate final result including the maximum distension height. All test results are recorded in the touch-screen controller and can be uploaded to a computer or printer with a USB output. Unit has been approved for use in its labs by Marks & Spencer.
