Globe Canvas to merge with D.C. Humphrys

During the 2013 Specialty Fabrics Expo, agreements were signed to merge the assets and personnel of Globe Canvas Products Co., Yeadon, Pa., into Philadelphia-based D.C. Humphrys Co. According to Globe Canvas Products’ president Kevin Kelly, IFM, MFC, CPP: “Globe will continue as an operating division of Humphrys. Settlement of this transaction is expected to occur within the next 4-6 weeks.” Humphrys, founded in 1874, employs 80 people and is a $15 million manufacturer and distributor of tarps, truck covers, windscreens, wall padding, gym mats, roll goods and other industrial fabric products.
