Mutoh’s ValueJet printers win SGIA award

The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) product of the year award went to the ValueJet 1638 64-inch wide-format printer, made by Mutoh America Inc., Tokyo, Japan. This is the second year the Mutoh ValueJet line has walked away with honors in the Test Print Shoot Out Poster Size, Solvent or Latex Ink category, announced this year at the 2013 SGIA Expo in Orlando, Fla. The ValueJet 1638 incorporates a staggered dual-head design, allowing for speeds up to 1,012 square feet/hour and is recommended for banners, posters, vehicle wraps, point-of-purchase displays and trade show graphics.
