Aurora Specialty Textiles consolidates operations

Aurora Specialty Textiles Group Inc., manufacturer of fabrics for tape, graphics, apparel, home furnishings, industrial and medical applications, has centralized all textile processing operations in its Aurora, Ill., headquarters and plant. “With minimal disruption to ongoing operations and order fulfillment, we have transitioned out of our Travelers Rest, S.C., plant,” said company president Bob Matz. Combining operations of the two facilities is the first phase of a broader initiative to increase Aurora’s manufacturing capability and growth.
