Fully automatic pontoon covers

Products | June 1, 2014 | By:

Sometimes, just the hassle of having to put on and take off an unwieldy pontoon cover can be enough for some people to think twice about taking the boat out for a leisurely spin. Jackson Canvas Co. has solved that problem, with a fully automatic cover that can be put up or down in less than 45 seconds. The Liberator mooring cover/cruising top combination is easily controlled from a simple key fob. It has four separate positions: mooring cover, bimini, double bimini for full shade, and bridge for a low overpass.
The cover is constructed from Safety Components’ WeatherMAX 80 fabric, chosen for its ability to stand up to the elements and retain its shape and color, resisting fading for
five years or more. The material is watertight but not airtight,
so it is breathable; and available in a variety of colors.

According to Ted MacCready, president of Jackson Canvas: “The dimensional stability of the material provides a means to maintain the tight, convertible-type trim tension on the top regardless of the weather conditions. There’s no sag and bag that is so common in most of the materials used in the boat cover industry.” For more, visit www.weathermax.net.
