Rainier awarded Manufacturer of the Year

Seattle Business magazine honored Rainier Industries of Tukwila, Wash., with the silver award for Manufacturer of the Year in the large firms category at the Washington Manufacturing Awards gala on April 29, 2015. The annual event brought together 300 leaders from Washington state.

The Manufacturing Company of the Year Award is based on company performance relative to other companies in the industry, overall business strategy, manufacturing process improvements and innovations, and working relationships with customers, partners and suppliers.

A manufacturer of tents, yurts, shade structures and retail displays, Rainier has expanded in recent years, investing $1 million in new printing technology to improve quality and cut production time.

Rainier said the company is proud to be counted among the other 17 Washington-based manufacturers, who share commitment to building excellent products in the Pacific Northwest.
