Renson Inc., European developer and manufacturer of sun shading and ventilation system solutions, announced its collaboration and growing project capacity in the North American market with Eide Industries Inc., a Cerritos, Calif.-based manufacturer of fabric and metal structures for commercial installations, at the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Annual Meeting and Expo, held Nov. 6–9 in Chicago, Ill.

Eide will integrate Renson’s fabric and ZipShade technologies into its structures, applying both companies’ principles of innovation to provide unique shading and fabric solutions for customized and large-scale projects. Renson’s ZipShade® sunscreen solution features a zip system securely fastened to the edge of the screen, which is permanently held in place via the system’s side guides. A cable slot in the system’s side channels allows for its electrical cable to be quickly and seamlessly concealed, and the ZipShade system at-large enables the possibility to connect two screens up to a 20-foot width.

Additionally, the collaboration will include the integration and installation of Renson’s Algarve® structure, a customizable solution that features roof louvers to both temper the sun’s effects and protect against wet conditions.
