IMI Europe announces new ownership and leadership

Mike Willis, managing director of IMI Europe for 17 years, will step down from his role and sell a majority share of the company. The transaction will close on Dec. 31, 2015. He will become chairman with an advisory role in the company and retain a minority stake in IMI Europe.

Dr. Tim Phillips will become IMI’s new managing director and majority owner beginning in 2016. Phillips, who previously worked for Xennia Technology and Sensient, also has plans to launch Catenary Solutions Limited, a technology marketing consultancy offering expertise in commercializing technology products.
