CORDURA® teams up with ESMOD students

INVISTA, a Wichita, Kan.-headquartered producer of chemical intermediates, polymers and fibers, is launching its workwear brand CORDURA® with future fashion designers. INVISTA has partnered with ESMOD Paris, which provides complete training at the undergraduate and graduate levels in fashion design and business. ESMOD students will develop a style portfolio of casual work wear clothing that crosses over into modern fashion—using CORDURA as the medium. Students will learn fabric selection, as well as printing, dyeing and embroidery, submitting their final workwear designs at ESMOD.

Representatives from the CORDURA brand team will later select garments to feature in CORDURA brand young designer displays at international trade exhibitions including Expoprotection in France (November 2016) and Outdoor Retailer in the U.S. (August 2016).
