Branch Technology won top marks during NASA’s 3-D Habitat Centennial Challenge for a project submission that uses technology that could be used to develop future habitats from materials on other worlds. Working with Foster+Partners, a global architectural and design firm, Brand Technology used materials developed by Techmer PM to fulfill the required task: creating a cone using a 3-D printing. The team scored the most points for this stage of the competition and was awarded $85,930. This Level 1 Compression Test Competition is the first of three sub-competitions within Phase 2.
