Retractable awnings complement setting

This home in the Roaring Fork Valley needed retractable awnings to provide cooling protection from the strong Colorado sun while complementing the mountain setting. The Solairette Maxi retractable window awnings achieved this goal while protecting interior furnishings from damaging UV rays. Solair retractable patio awnings provide the same cooling and protective benefits and also create comfortable outdoor living spaces. The large window patio retractable awning was mounted on a concrete tile roof; sufficient head room was necessary below the awning, which required supporting the underside of the concrete tiles to support the roof brackets. Awning fabric is Sunbrella® by Glen Raven Custom Fabrics LLC, from Tri Vantage LLC.
