Hot-melt adhesives feature flameproof properties

Coloursmith Ltd., Chelmsford, Essex, U.K., introduces two new hot-melt adhesives. With flameproof properties, they can be used in the upholstery, contract furnishings and other technical sectors. Developed by K M S Adhesives, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, U.K., P268FR and P269FR can be applied using standard application technologies: roller, spray or nozzle application. P268FR is a medium viscosity, flameproof hot-melt adhesive for the lamination of textiles; P269FR is a crystalline, flameproof, reactive, hot-melt adhesive with very high tack for bonding textiles or films, suitable for bonding textiles in the building sector or textiles for personal protective clothing. Both products conform to DIN 4102 combustion classes B1 and B2.
