Camira Fabrics Ltd., Mirfield, West Yorkshire, U.K., returned to its archive of catalogued designs and chose a former favorite to bring back to life in a re-inspired contemporary interpretation. Blending old and new, the textured wool upholstery fabric, first launched in 1985, was released in response to requests from designers for a more hand-crafted look. With its natural fibers, it also meets Camira’s sustainability ethos. In North America, Camira’s fabrics are available by the yard from stocked inventory in Indianapolis, Ind., and are backed by a minimum 5-year wear warranty.
