In a 15-hour time frame on a busy city street, EventQuip installed 22,880 square feet of tenting and over 15,000 square feet of flooring and carpet for the opening celebration of the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia, Pa. Precise logistical planning was the key to success, including installation of a 20-meter-by-70-meter clear top tent over a double stringer wood floor with carpet and 7,700 square feet of support tenting, including walkways, catering tents and restroom trailer tents. All tents were walled, heated and weighted with concrete ballast. Designed to accommodate two events, the tent was the site of a gala dinner in the evening, and re-configured for the opening ceremony, with a keynote speech by U.S. Vice President Joe Biden the next day.
