For a stylish wedding in New Orleans’ Garden District, Mahaffey Fabric Structures was asked to make the tent look more like an upscale event venue on the inside, rather than a standard tent. But the customer also wanted the space to be attached to their colonial-style home and extend into their backyard. The company met all requirements with a custom flooring system, built to accommodate a porch, swimming pool and elaborate rose garden, and a tent structure that stood on 14-foot legs with a peak height of 20 feet. A natural yet contemporary aesthetic was created with draped foliage over the clear tent top, with spaces cut to allow a few tree branches inside the structure.
