Röder HTS Höcker was asked to develop a unique clearspan structure system that could be offered as a premium product to the customer’s prestigious client base. With the requirement that it would “look like no other,” a new multifunctional system was created that can be used as a single-level or two-story building; will span widths of 10, 15 and 20 meters; has uprights that can be set up in the standard vertical position or at a 10 degree angle; has an A-frame or curved roof design and a glass/hard-walling system with panels installed horizontally on the outside of the frame; and has the ability to utilize unsupported 5-meter canopies for hospitality viewing areas. Engineered to exceed stringent wind loading, it can be set up with a self-weight floor system, eliminating the need for earth anchors.
