Alaxi Fabrics has designed a line of fabrics inspired by the mysterious and exciting destination of Marrakech. Like the market souks of that city, the designs include everything from hints of antique architecture to modern design, as well as reflections of the delicate tile and lacework that is so prominent in the area. The entire collection is transitional and mixes old-world tradition with modern techniques in fretwork, flamestitch and mosaic. The well-rounded grouping features finely detailed paisleys, majestic scenics, elegant large-scale fretwork, needlepoint of mosaic stripes and contrasting textured stripes with plush chenille.
