The transport of live trees comes with a unique set of challenges. The trees and root systems are prone to overheating and windburn if not properly covered, meaning tree-transport haulers need a product that will protect the trees while in transport and be manageable at the same time. Harp’s Tarps fabricated the covers for this tree-transport hauler from virgin polypropylene. The fabric has become the primary fabric choice for tree transporters because it helps keep the temperature of the trees cooler with its 82-percent shade factor, prevents windburn while in transport, and lasts between five and 10 years with proper care. The fabric is also U.V. stabilized and is easily fabricated to the customers’ specifications.
