Woven polypropylene geotextiles provide strong base
Specialty Fabrics Review | March 2009
Problem: Road and railway construction requires a flexible and versatile base course reinforcement and sub-grade restraint, as well as embankment stabilization. This base material must also be strong and durable.
Solution: Mirafi® HP-Series woven polypropylene geotextiles offers higher tensile modulus properties per ASTM D 4595 than comparable stabilization products, and its unique weave provides excellent separation factors with controlled filtration and drainage, and superior soil confinement and durability. The panels can be sewn together in the factory or field, providing cross-roll direction strength to facilitate installation.
