Environmentally friendly casual furniture fabrics now available from Tri Vantage®

GeoBella®, a line of outdoor cushion fabrics combining performance, comfort and recyclability, has been added to furniture fabric offerings from Tri Vantage®. Woven by Phifer Inc. using post-industrial olefin yarn wastes, GeoBella fabrics are PVC-free and 100 percent recyclable. Available in 78 solid colors, stripes and patterns, GeoBella fabrics offer a soft hand and are designed for outdoor cushions as well as sling furniture and marine applications.

“GeoBella fabrics do not absorb water and dry quickly, making them resistant to mold and mildew growth,” says Tom Koster, Tri Vantage marine and furniture products manager. “These fabrics are also fade-resistant, stain-resistant and easy to clean.”

Phifer Inc. is a leading producer of insect screens, solar screens, drawn wire, interior solar control fabrics, engineered products and outdoor designer fabrics. The company also offers sun-control fabrics and designed fabrics for outdoor furniture that are 100 percent recyclable. These PVC-free fabrics are generated from a core yarn that is born out of post-industrial waste by-product, which lends itself to repeat recyclability for continued sustainability.
