Problem: Disposable garments from clean environments, such as those used in silicon chip production, are unnecessarily thrown away.

Solution: Durable Tyvek® fabric made from HDPE is hard to tear or puncture, yet it functions as a breathable membrane that allows body heat and sweat to escape while preventing chemicals, paints and particles from getting in. Disposable Tyvek garments are costly to purchase, but MPE Inc.’s line of recycled Tyvek® garments save money and the environment, and provide the same protection for environments that do not require a new garment. MPE also repairs garments, if needed, or cuts out damaged or soiled portions of the garment and uses the fabric to make new garments.
