Bernhardt supplies designer upholstery materials

We have a client specifying Bernhardt Winkraft fabric for an outdoor awning. Is this an awning fabric?

Probably not. Bernhardt Design is a supplier of designer upholstery materials. Within the last couple of years, Bernhardt collaborated with Winkrelative to create Winkraft, a line of contemporary materials, including upholstery fabric. From what we can tell, the line consists of primarily cotton blends, which do not appear to be engineered for outdoor use or designed to be stretched over a frame, as would be necessary in an awning.
