Custom sewing parts make sewing more efficient

Problem: Switching work stations to sew different profile extrusions is time-consuming and labor-intensive.

Solution: Fabricated custom sewing parts (presser feet, feed dog and needle plates) from Kaplan Sewing Machine accommodate the different profiles of each of the extrusions for a manufacturer of industrial conveyor belts. A thirty minute change-out of these sewing parts allows fabrication of belts using the different profile extrusions on the same sewing work station.
