Increasing children's fitness with covered stations

In Great Britain, an estimated 14 percent of boys and 17 percent of girls aged two to 15 are obese, statistics that have launched national efforts to get children outdoors and in motion. Canopy manufacturer Inside2Outside, Huntingdon, England, hopes kids will run for cover—to its new Outdoor Fitness Range, a series of fitness stations deployed in public parks, schools and sports facilities. Each station contains exercise equipment targeted to work specific muscle groups, so users can get a real workout by following the stations or designing their own training plans.
