Problem: Customers want lightweight yet attractive hurricane protection systems at a reasonable price.

Solution: Storm-A-Rest™ hurricane protection systems are made of Supreme Protector®, one of the world’s strongest commercially woven fabrics, to be lightweight (2.5 ounces/square foot) and 15 times stronger than steel on a per-weight basis. The product received Florida Building Code certification for wind and missile impacts, can be rolled up when not in use and allows 76 percent light transmission. The panels have no motorized parts or maintenance, and masquerade as decorative trim when not holding up to hurricanes.
