Fast Shelter provides inflatable, weather-resistant structure in minutes
Specialty Fabrics Review | July 2008
Despite rain, snow, sleet or hail, work needs to get done outdoors. Elite Detail Service in northern Illinois washed more than 200 vehicles at the Chicago Auto Show in below-freezing temperatures using a shelter that packs into a canvas duffle bag 30 inches in diameter. The Fast Shelter model 950xt Elite inflates to a structure 25 feet long, 16 feet wide and 8.5 feet tall in two minutes.
Sky Signs Balloons Ltd., Phoenixville, Pa., manufactures Fast Shelters and recently introduced the 950 model after its smaller versions got two thumbs up from customers. “We had a tremendous reception to our original models,” says Sky Signs president Dave Norris, “and the continuing request for an even larger structure led to the design of the 950 series.” Fast Shelters can be used for mobile auto body repair, window tinting and glass replacement, interior restoration, auto detailing, new construction and plant maintenance.
