TouchCAD 3D modeling and shape control

TouchCAD software combines very fast free-form modeling with a very high degree of shape control, and delivers ready-to-cut files in most industry standard formats. The inflated tent shown, with a floor area of 1000 square meters and a surface area of approximately 4000 square meters distributed of 987 unfolded panels, was designed from scratch to ready-to-cut files with material panels optimized for the given material width, seam allowances and panel numbers in less than two days. TouchCAD works well with the Prodim Proliner, and is also used for upholstery, boat hoods and awnings. The software also provides the ability to map high-resolution images on 3D shapes such as sails or tents.
