Somfy Systems Inc. releases eco-friendly protective products

Somfy Systems Inc. manufactures specialized motors and electronic controls for residential and commercial interior and exterior window covering markets. Somfy is introducing products to increase energy savings and provide extra living space and protection from UV rays. Somfy’s RTS accessories include the Sunis WireFree™ RTS sensor, a solar-powered sun sensor that uses Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS) to extend the awning, based on the sun’s intensity.
The Eolis 3D WireFree™ RTS wind sensor will retract the awning once wind-generated movements exceed the sensor’s threshold. The Heater RTS is an all season plug-and-play 1500W heater integrated with RTS that attaches to the square bar of the awning and uses infrared heat, making it energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
The Telis 4 Soliris RTS Patio enables consumers to operate all their RTS awning accessories from the same remote.
