Sandler AG celebrated its 130th anniversary in Schwarzenbach/Saale on May 15, with many high-profile guests from business, politics and society. Official speaker Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, Germany’s Federal Minister of Economics, recognized the achievements of the family-owned company and its employees, citing its innovation-oriented corporate policies. The anniversary was hailed as a success for both the company and the region of Upper Franconia.

Chief executive Dr. Christian Heinrich Sandler highlighted success factors such as market orientation, demanding quality management, cooperation with universities and research organizations and longstanding relationships with customers and suppliers. Sandler has been a member of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Upper Franconia for many years, and is also a vice president of the German Textile and Apparel Association, president of the Association of the Bavarian Textile and Apparel Industry, and presidium member of the Association of the Bavarian Economy.
