Industrial textile decoration, coating and finishing requires inkjet technology enabling application of large drops that form uniform layers on textiles, glass, floor and wall covers, furniture laminates and wallpaper. Trident Industrial Inkjet, Brookfield, Conn., makes piezoelectric impulse inkjet print heads that work well with high-speed, rugged printing equipment. Xennia Technology Ltd., Letchworth, U.K., a manufacturer of inkjet modules, printers and ink, recently signed an agreement for exclusive use of the Trident print heads. The Trident technology is compatible with Xennia’s XenJet inkjet printer modules, including print engines, fluid controllers and printing software.
