Sun control, outdoor fabrics from Phifer Inc.

Phifer Inc. is introducing new additions to its Phifertex® Designed Fabrics, SheerWeave® and SunTex® product lines. They will be on display at the Phifer booth (No. 1112) at IFAI Expo Americas this fall.

Geobella™ attractive, earth-friendly fabrics for outdoor furniture are made of 100 percent olefin yarns recycled from post-industrial waste. The 100 percent recyclable fabrics offer a soft, touchable texture with the stability, strength and durability needed for outdoor cushion applications.

SheerWeave Performance+™ combines a traditional SheerWeave fabric with the highly reflective properties of metallization to achieve the ultimate in sun control protection. The fabrics act as a shield at the window, reflecting solar heat, reducing glare and increasing the outward view through the shade while still providing privacy. The Performance+ fabrics are infused with Microban® antimicrobial protection to inhibit the growth of stain-causing bacteria, mold and mildew.

Suntex 90 Design, created for the exterior roller shade market, brings decorator touches to outdoor living spaces. Rich, design-oriented look has the same weave and performance of traditional SunTex 90 fabric. Made of strong vinyl-coated polyester, the high-performance fabric provides protection from heat and glare while also offering exceptional visibility and airflow.
