Automated grommet welder produces strong, clear grommets

Problem: Metal grommets cover up parts of expensive, high-resolution graphics, and the occasional grommet failure leads to costly field repairs.

Solution: For secure grommets made of clear PVC, FIAB’s Automated Grommet Welder does the trick. The RF generator operating on single-phase 208-volt power is small and can be moved to the fabric, takes three seconds to punch the hole and weld the grommet, and gives a seal with 3040 percent greater strength than a metal grommet.
