Display showcases official Olympic clothing and accessories

Eventscape created a specialty area within the Hudson Bay Company’s department stores to showcase official Olympic clothing and accessories, available only through HBC, a sponsor of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Part of the display features a dramatic, 15-foot-high column tree with curved framed fabric “branches,” which incorporates the Olympic colors and spans over 60 feet. Vinyl fabric was used on the “trunk” for cleanability in areas accessible to the public, and unique fabric pod changing rooms have a sliding door that, when closed, displays the word “occupied” in 12 languages. Eventscape was recognized with an IFAI Award of Excellence for the project.
