Nonwoven performance fabric offers durable protection

Pavenex® is a new stitch-bonded, nonwoven performance fabric that offers superior, direct-contact protection from spark, weld splatter, arc flash and extreme heat and flame. Both durable and abrasion-resistant, it can be used as an internal or exterior barrier for a variety of industrial, chemical and welding protective gear and garments, including gloves, spats, torch shields, aprons, coats, blankets, curtains, pants and shirts. Its inherently flame-resistant blend of carbon-based fibers has no chemical treatments, and is appropriate for use in applications that require up to 2200 degrees (F) and continuous exposure of 600 degrees (F). Pavenex is also lightweight, breathable and very flexible.
