Free webinar on apparel markets in Canada and Mexico, Sept. 14

On Sept. 14, 2010, at 2:00 pm EDT, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of Textiles and Apparel (OTEXA) and U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service will host a webinar on export market opportunities in selected markets in Canada and Mexico for U.S. apparel and textile firms. The focus will be on small and medium sized companies in the retail apparel industry. There is no cost to participate in the webinar, which will feature information on market opportunities as well as the political, business, and economic environment; current retail and consumer data on apparel sales, distribution channels and regulations.

Advance registration is required here. The webinar will be recorded and posted on OTEXA’s website so that it can be used as a reference for those who are not able to participate on Sept. 14.
