"Squid booth" showcases Eventscape fabrication and design

This fabric structure, nicknamed the “squid booth,” was designed to reach out to architects, designers and other potential clients, drawing them in with its tentacles so that they could see and experience Eventscape’s capabilities in fabrication and design. The connections and intricacies of the joints of the tentacles made the structure challenging to cover with “skin.” Even though the “squid” is 20-feet high and completely fills the 800-square-foot footprint, the lightweight aluminum structure is freestanding and can be lifted and moved by six people.
