The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) recognizes work sites that demonstrate exceptional safety, health and environmental practices. The General Electric (GE) energy production facility in Slater, Mo., received an award of excellence for its outstanding commitment to employee protection.
