AATCC symposium will focus on composites

Innovations in functional materials, sports and defense technologies and composites symposium, being conducted by AATCC’s Materials Interest Group, will focus on innovative applications and technologies in the areas of composites, defense/protective clothing, functional materials, and sports apparel. The program, chaired by Philip J. Brown with Clemson University, will be held October 26–27 at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, S.C., U.S.A. The National Textile Center (NTC) Forum and Student Paper Competition will be held in conjunction with this program.

Presentations will range from green composites, composite nanofibers and energy storage to applications in sports apparel, chemical and biological protection and medical textiles. Visit www.aatcc.org for program updates and registration information.
