We need a long-arm sewing machine, one with a double needle and a walking foot and puller. Ideally, we’d like to be able to rent the equipment for a week or two, to make sure it can do what we need it to do. Any suggestions?

Long-arm sewing machines, especially with features like the double needle and walking foot/puller combination, are often custom built. Due to the expense and the size of the equipment involved, we haven’t found a supplier willing to rent one for such a limited time or on a trial basis. We suggest that you work closely with your supplier on the details that you need, and, if it’s practical, send samples of what you need sewn. We also suggest asking them if they’ve had a customer with a similar request that they’d be willing to give as a referral.
