Dow lab enhances elastomer research

Dow Europe GmbH, Horgen, Switzerland, has enhanced its formulation and testing lab at the Performance Plastics Innovation Center to respond to extensive growth in use of elastomers for adhesives and flexible membranes. New capacities include a hot melt adhesive coating and lamination unit and a direct extrusion line for flexible membranes. According to Pierre Burelli, EMEA commercial director, Dow Elastomers, “We have the ability to develop and test products…and we can offer our lab to customers who may not have these testing capabilities in-house.” Dow manufactures VERSIFY™, ENGAGE™ and INFUSE™ elastomer resins.
