Weatherable films

Two new outside weatherable (OSW) films are designed to cover windows with laminates, low-emittance coatings or wired glazing systems. Solar Gard® Sentinel™ Silver 20 and Silver 35 can be installed on the outside of a window, blocking heat from entering and reducing glass breakage. The films also prevent seal failure and reject up to 78 percent of solar energy. Durable, scratch-resistant films are easy to clean and protect glazing from pollutants. A 5-year warranty covers the films when applied to a vertical building facade, with a 2-year warranty available for films on a sloped facade.
